JEFF HUGGINS - CEO & CHAIRMAN
Jeff Huggins is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Safran Data Systems Inc. based in Norcross, Georgia. He is focused on growing the organization to match the evolving data needs of the aerospace industry with more advanced engineering, extra mile customer support and a dynamic internal team.

Previously Jeff served as Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at IAI North America, a U.S. subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd., Israel's largest aerospace and defense company. Prior to that, he was the Raytheon Business Development Executive for the unmanned systems and U-2 portfolio. He has served as an appointed member of the FAA Aviation Rules Committee for integration of UAS into the National Airspace. FULL BIO

Jeff Huggins served in the U.S. Embassy, Tokyo from 2000 to 2005. He was a President George W. Bush political appointee into the U.S. Department of State as the Senior Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to Japan, Howard Baker Jr. from 2003-2005. From 2000-2003 he was assigned as Naval Attache in the Defense Attache Office.

He served 20 years on active duty as a Naval Officer, with years at sea and worldwide deployments. His assignments have included responsibility for a broad portfolio of technology for both U.S. and international applications including satellite ground stations, C4ISR, sensors, cyber operations, undersea acoustics as well as unmanned systems.

Jeff graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with an engineering degree, earned an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and completed graduate studies at the Naval War College, Newport, RI; Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA; and the Cheong Kong Graduate School of Business, China.

JOHNNY PAPPAS - EVP & CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
Johnny is Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Safran Data Systems. His experience spans over 30 years working for the government and leading aerospace companies in both military and commercial market spaces. He is consistently focused on being an advocate for customers and helping the industry look forward. FULL BIO


Prior to Joining Zodiac in 2003, Johnny became Vice President of Sales managing a number of companies for a growth by acquisition company, SBS Technologies Corporation.   The companies ranged from embedded computers, telemetry, instrumentation, and connectivity products for commercial and military applications. 

He worked for the Department of the Air Force for 12 years in roles that included Director of the Engineering Development Division at the Computer Science Center at Eglin AFB. He participated in the Range Commanders Council (RCC) Telemetry Group, Recorder and Reproducer Committee. Johnny established and chaired a working group that developed the first Digital Data Recording Standard which was published as IRIG 107.

Throughout his career, Johnny has worked to be a leader in anticipating future technology requirements, expand product capabilities and predict trends in the market space. He is active military and industry-wide technology standards development. Johnny is a contributor to the development of telemetry standards and was instrumental in establishing the first DOD standard for packet based Digital Data Recording and Instrumentation Standard.

Johnny graduated Louisiana State University with an electrical engineering degree.

He lives in Fort Walton Beach and Key West splitting his free time between playing music and water sports.

JEFF RUSINCOVITCH - DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Jeff is responsible for business development, product development, and cybersecurity for the instrumentation product lines. He works with customers, sales, and engineering teams to coordinate technology development for customer requirements and emerging market trends. He also leads the company’s cybersecurity initiatives and supports customers efforts to achieve ATO. FULL BIO

Jeff has over 15 years of experience in flight test instrumentation and telemetry systems engineering. He has participated in the design, installation and operation of instrumentation and telemetry systems for testing on several aircraft platforms, ranging from compact for R&D projects to large scale for certification programs.

Prior to joining Safran Data Systems, Jeff spent 10 years at Gulfstream Aerospace in the flight test instrumentation group, supporting the G650, G500 and G600 flight test certification programs. He managed a flight test instrumentation team of 30 employees working on design, telemetry and data-systems development. Through partnership with the SDS team, Jeff’s Gulfstream team successfully implemented the one of the first instances of IRIG-106 Chapter 7 TM downlink on a major test program. while at Gulfstream, Jeff gained valuable experience with FAA certification while leading the Cabin Interior Configuration Management team. Prior to Gulfstream, Jeff worked in the Flight Test Instrumentation group at Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Ga while primarily supporting the C-5 engine upgrade program and various C-130 test projects.

Jeff graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from The Ohio State University where he also worked in the research labs supporting wind tunnel testing. He also has an M.S. in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle University.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters. His hobbies include cooking and sailing. He currently resides in Savannah, Ga.

PIERRE BASTIE - DIRECTOR OF TELEMETRY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Pierre Bastie is the Director of Business Development for the Telemetry division at Safran Data Systems Inc. (SDS). He was worked with SDS since 2010 both in France and the US. Currently, he works customers to equip telemetry systems for test ranges, launch vehicles and ground stations for government and commercial aerospace organizations. FULL BIO

Before joining the US division, Pierre spent 6 years working for Safran Data Systems in France where Pierra held various positions in Sales & Marketing. His technical telemetry knowledge and broad experience with rage requirements and challenges enables him to develop customer focused solutions to improve the quality of the received telemetry.

Pierre and his team have provided support to various federal agencies including: National Telecommunication Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), Frequency Management Group (FMG), Aerospace and Flight Test Radio Coordinating Council (AFTRCC) and the Range Commanders Council (RCC). Work has included spectrum efficiency modulation techniques, mitigation of telemetry multipath, introduction of new modulation technique like OFDM. He also provided technical support to the Army Research Lab (ARL) and UTEP University in El Paso Texas to reduce the 4G and LTE interference effects on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Telemetry missions. At the DATT “Defense and Aerospace Telemetry and Test” Summit in Orlando last year, Pierre taught several classes on Tracking antenna and Telemetry receiver technologies to exhibition attendees.

Pierre received a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA Lyon-France) and recently graduated from the Executive MBA program from the Goizueta Business School (Emory university Atlanta).

Married, Pierre is the father of a three and half year-old-boy and a year and half year-old-daughter.

JUSTIN KATKO - EXECUTIVE SALES DIRECTOR
Justin has worked with SDS since 2009 specializing in airborne and ground station data acquisitions and telemetry systems. He works with customers within the DoD/USG and the wider commercial aerospace industry to deliver leading-edge technology solutions for Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Wide body, UAV's, Missiles, Launchers and Ground Vehicles. As a former flight test instrumentation engineer he focuses on meeting requirements, minimizing risk and optimizing support responses for flight test campaigns.

Prior to joining SDS, Justin worked in flight test instrumentation engineering in support of AFSOC -Air Force Special Operations aircraft. He was responsible for flight test instrumentation design, installation, monitoring and recording of on-board systems. This included analog sensors, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Serial, Ethernet, Video (MFD's, FLIR, IR, Remote cameras) on aircraft including MH-53, CV-22, TH-1H, AC-130U, AC-130H, MC-130 I/II.

Justin Graduated from The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, then Commissioned as an Officer within the United Stated Air Force.

In his free time Justin enjoys Boating, watching sporting events, and spending time with his family.

DAN GREEN - SENIOR FAE
Dan has worked with SDS since 2010 specializing in airborne and ground station data acquisitions and telemetry systems. He works with customers within the DoD/USG and the wider commercial aerospace industry to deliver leading-edge technology solutions for Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Wide body, UAV's, Missiles, Launchers and Ground Vehicles. Dan has worked in the flight test industry since 1993 as both data processing and instrumentation support. Prior to joining SDS, Dan worked in flight test at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics on several programs, including F-16, F-22, F-35, U-2, Tier-III Minus, C-130, C-5, etc…

MICHELE SWITALSKI - DIRECTOR, SPACE & SYSTEMS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Michele has worked with SDS since 2015 and specializes in satellite receiver and tracking antennas as well as WeTrack Orbits service. She works with customers to figure out how to reconcile their space operations and technology requirements in a way that satisfies today’s needs and also provides a path forward as the technologies evolve. Michele is skilled at seeing opportunities to build and configure higher functional density systems so customers TCO goes down and their abilities are flexible.

Prior to coming to SDS she worked as Director of Sales for Smartonix/Wyle’s real time data processing, recorders and services; and as US Sales and Business Development Manager for Orbit Communications Systems’ full motion tracking antennas. Earlier she worked as Regional Sales Manager for satellite networks and Satellite Services Program Manager for ViaSat.

JUSTIN REESE - BUSINESS DEV MANAGER FOR CRITICAL DATA MANAGEMENT
Justin has worked with SDS as the Business Development Manager for Critical Data Management (CDM) since 2016. He manages data / video recording for all aircraft mission critical systems. Because mission recorders are so highly configurable and versatile he focuses helping customers select options that meet both their current and evolving requirements. FULL BIO

Prior to joining SDS Justin worked in Aircraft Avionics for the US Army. While in the military he served in multiple combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. His roles touched all aspects of aircraft logistics and maintenance operations including; aircraft electrician, avionics technician, avionics supervisor, maintenance director, and aircraft production control manager.

Justin attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University graduating with a B.S in Aeronautical Science and an MBA in Aviation. He is currently an active Federal Communication Commission examiner and holds his Radar Endorsement license.

ALLAN BEGG - GROUND FLIGHT TEST SALES MANAGER
Allan works with the Telemetry division at Safran Data Systems Inc. (SDS). He has been with the company since 2014 providing sales and support for ground based RF based products (Antenna, Receivers, Recorders) for Flight Test and Space Launch applications.FULL BIO


Before coming to SDS, Allan worked in several roles for at Herley Industries with airborne Telemetry / Flight Test products, including Flight Termination Receivers, Radar Tracking Transponders, and Data Acquisition systems. He brings a combined balance of sharp technical acumen and practiced field support skills to customers. 

Allan lives and works from Marietta Pennsylvania. 

ROB DAWSON - WESTERN SALES DIRECTOR
Rob has worked with SDS since 2017 specializing in airborne and ground station data acquisitions and telemetry systems. He works with customers within the DoD/USG and the wider commercial aerospace industry to deliver leading-edge technology solutions for Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Wide body, UAV's, Missiles, Launchers and Ground Vehicles. As a former flight test instrumentation engineer he focuses on meeting requirements, minimizing risk and optimizing support responses for flight test campaigns.

Prior to joining SDS, Rob spent 15 years in flight test instrumentation engineering in support of AVMI and NAVAIR. He was responsible for flight test instrumentation design, installation, monitoring and recording of on-board systems. He worked with all different testing competencies to include, structures, thermal, aerospace, flight controls, avionics, etc. Supporting America's warfighter was always of importance and he did so on such aircraft as V-22, MQ-8, MH60R/S, P-8, CH-53E and CH-46's. Working on such programs allowed him the opportunity to work heavily in Telemetry design, video systems, analog design and sensor selection, digital aircraft buses to include 1553, Ethernet and Arinc.

He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp where he worked Avionics during the infancy of the V22 program. Its early failures drove him into the test community and inspires him daily.

In his free time Rob enjoys his family, coaching football and watching the Michigan Wolverines lose to Ohio State.
